i am about to gain almost 400 miles of distance.
over 750 combined.
would it were i had the speed, the energy, the alcubierre drive to bend space/time and cross the malleable but infinite surface of space itself.
there is a pattern underlying all of this. of that i am most definetly certain. peradventure, time will come when my sequence paralells with this pattern.

As of right now weather looks bad for tomorrow in indianapolis. SNOW. Lots of it. Blizzard warnings are in effect for central Indiana. What follows is the information you need to know where i am and what i plan on doing this next week:
tuesday: arrive at ORF after 5pm. then myself and the lovely vikki wilson [whom i expect all of you to also thank as it is she bought my ticket home] will hookup and TUESDAY NIGHT I WILL BE AT DOOM|GLOOM. This will be a great time to see me as i will be there all night as vikkis guest and will be able to mingle and dance with you all. something i haven't done ingoing on a year now. that nigh i will stay with vikki.
wednesday: I am under the impression vikki will be going to work that morning so hopefully she will take me with her into downtown norfolk. my goal is to take pics of the tunnel and other things i am seriously missing. if anyone wishes to meet up me in norfolk downtown, before noon, that day, email me tuesday and we can find a place to meet up. about noon or 1 pm i hope to cross the water to olde town portsmouth to take more pics and visit my former place of employment. then it's a brisk walk to 'the oubliette' [read: thophers house]. want to visit me? i'll be there at about 2pm. i'm stopping in port norfolk to visit a few places and take some picturesif you'd like to join me that'd be great. hopefully that night i can connect with the outer circle and though a late night will not be in order IF I DONT GO TO THE BIER GARDEN THIS TIME AROUND I'LL GO NUTS! i will stay at tophs that night.

imagine if you can a computer program that, using music videos, can transfer the cyber-acoustic sound signatures of videos into a searchable database of quarter, 8th, 16th and i imagine 32nd notes [wow!?].
then another piece of music or a live input through microphone is broken down into its sound signatures. those sound signatures are used as search items to find video snippets with similar sound signatures in the pre-existing video/signature database.
then, using those similar pieces compiled from search results, reconstructing a version of the live input or piece of music using these snippets...
ALL IN REAL TIME!!
there is such a program, scrambledhackz. i found it today searching for hacks and bends for circuitbending. absolutely brilliant. More reason for me to build a linux box this summer.

it's 11:42pm on a saturday and i am shaping the world in my image. i am the prism and together you are all a beam of light. sectioned beams divided like pompeys broken legions. i am crossing the rubicon, fearless and direct.
the week in review: monday was an uneventful mesh of working on several designs for club nights here and abroad but the evening was filled with designing alongside carpe_jugulum her banner for tribal pura.
tuesday most of the day was spent with adamduckworth. mostly geeking out and listening to his old noise projects from highschool. hilarity ensued. that night i hung out with mikehiltz lead man of the greatest band in the world, shake.
wednesday i hardly rememeber and dont know why. i stayed home i think. fuckery. see this is why i need outboard memory again. so i can record visual data to remind myself what occurs.
thursday worked until late and had dinner with carpe_jugulum + leitungsblume. white pizza was shared and carpe_jugulum and i made ourselves pleasantly drunk on several types of alcohol and mozart [you know the pansy composer. i can appreciate but i'm more of a stravinsky kind of guy].
friday a day of completeing work, solidifying plans for a venture home and a connection with a good friend i have never met. sounds odd doesn't it. i have a hard time going a few days without talking to her. these grins are contagious. last night i was treated to dinner and standing on the roof of a downtown building [where i'm certain we shouldn't have been] some what drunk and dialing sougwen [ sorry heather, you're lovely. thanks for putting up with my errata].
saturday what can i say. this morning was a secret and today was a day of creativity. work was done music was made and i completed the above works. now i sit here feeling strong.

i had a dream the night of july 27th 2004. this is that dream. this is why i am a posthumanist.

i picked up the guitar today and found out that somewhere in the back of my mind i had filed away the ability to play david bowie songs... it's like they just sort of uploaded. tonight i am out and about with people.
